Sameer Sirdeshpande

Mr. Sirdeshpande is a seasoned engineering and financial executive with over 25 years of a multi-faceted background in business management, venture finance, technology, project development and hands on operations. Following early oilfield engineering experience at Schlumberger, he was a strategy consultant at such leading firms as Andersen Consulting and the Mitchell Madison Group where he engaged with the senior management of IBM, Chase, Hartford Insurance and AIG.   He also held leading roles in investment banking & risk management at Citigroup, Barclays Capital, and Jefferies. During the course of his career he has run numerous technology startups in the operating capacities of engineering, software development, venture capital, business strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, marketing, sales and finance. Most recently, Mr. Sirdeshpande has led the development of numerous state-of-the-art, high-yield projects in the areas of renewable energy, recycling, and energy storage.

Mr. Sirdeshpande speaks five languages and holds a graduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southampton in the UK / Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Cornell University.
