Cathy Verlench
Managing Partner and CFO
Ms. Verlench is a senior technology executive in the information technology sector. She started her career in the computer industry at the inception of the distributed computing revolution. Ms. Verlench was one of the early employees at Compaq Computer Corporation and held numerous key sales and management positions. When Hewlett Packard acquired Compaq, Ms. Verlench extended her management capabilities and became HP’s regional district manager. She left HP to head the Government and Commercial channels for high-end supercomputer manufacturer Stratus Technologies, the leader in fault-tolerant servers in extensive computing environments.
In the telecom sector, she was the channel manager for Sprint prior to its acquisition by T-Mobile. After the merger, she joined Core Venture Partners as CFO and senior consultant, collaborating with companies to help structure sales teams and strategically align engagement processes with clients. Ms. Verlench has a business and political science degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.
